BIO
Velcome, comrades!
I am Andrej. I was born in Prokopievsk, Siberia, where winters are cold and the government is always watching you, yes? After surviving the Soviet school system and glorious days in the Red Army, my family and I escaped to Germany in search of freedom, opportunity, good sausages, and maybe a few fewer potatoes.
Since then, I have travelled to more than 30 countries, picking up degrees from fancy and expensive universities in Germany, Canada, France, and Australia. I study many things: world religions, anthropology, human rights, theology... you know, some small topics. Along the vay, I vorked as caretaker, construction worker, truck driver, even seminary professor! Let’s just say, I have tried everything – except ballet... but who knows?
Now, I am semi-retired, living peaceful life in northern Alberta with my beautiful vife Erna. Ve have two grown sons and one very busy grandchild. In my free time, I fix old trucks, furniture, homes... if it’s broken, I fix it. I am also trying to master fishing and hunting – although, so far, fish and moose are much more intelligent than I expected.
Thank you for visiting! I look forward to sharing stories, maybe talking about trucks, or theology... or how to survive Siberian winter with only one potato. Let’s connect!
